Wild Winter Wellness Wrap Up!

It's still quite chilly outside, but February is a great time to connect with others for better mental wellbeing and get in touch with our local environments and wildlife, especially with the crisp weather!

At Wellbeing at Work, we're spreading awareness about the importance of communication and connecting with others to support each other's mental wellbeing for Time To Talk. We also want to highlight how our surroundings can have a positive impact on us - by supporting and caring for wildlife, we can make a positive change for all.

Read on to find out more!

It's Time To Talk with your Colleagues, Friends, Families and Communities!

Time to Talk Day is the nation’s biggest mental health conversation. Happening every year, to come together to talk, listen and change lives. Taking place on the 1st of February, run by Mind and Rethink Mental Illness with the Coop partnering for the third time running.
Talking about mental health isn't always easy for individuals and sometimes it's even harder to say how we feel, so listening to a person and having that conversation has the power to change lives!

Use this month to connect with your team and people around you, the more conversations we have the better life is for everyone.

P.S Check out our Wellbeing Training, we have Making Every Contact Count and Connect 5 that would boost your skills in these conversations!

Support the Wilderness to Support Your Wellness!

National Bird Nest Box Week is happening this month from the 14th to the 21st!
Britain needs more bird nest boxes, now more than ever, to improve the habitats of our wildlife! Many birds live in nest boxes, from the blue tit, and house sparrow, to the Pied Flycatcher and the Redstart, there are plenty of birds in need of boxes!

Why not have a team-building session and create birdhouses for our wildlife? You'll be aiding our environments but also giving you a sense of achievement and connection with nature - perfect for a mental wellbeing boost! P.S. You could even go as far as putting a camera into the box for you and your team to have a sneak peek at any little birdie babies!

Check out more below!
