Free onsite NHS Health Checks

Wellbeing at Work can offer FREE NHS Health Checks at your workplace for eligible people aged 40 – 74.

An NHS Health Check is a great way to get advice on keeping yourself healthy and active.  As we get older, there is a higher risk of developing heart disease, stroke, kidney disease, diabetes or dementia. A FREE NHS Health Check can help you reduce these risks and make sure that you stay healthy.

The check takes 40 mins and is based on straightforward questions and measurements such as blood pressure, pulse, body mass index (BMI) and a finger prick test for cholesterol.  During your appointment you will be taken through your results and offered advice and support on how to lower your risk and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

For further information regarding NHS Health Checks please visit our Wellbeing at work Website https://www.wellbeingatworksouthwest.co.uk/support-for-your-employees/on-site-support or email wellbeingat.work@nhs.net
