I really enjoy walking in the rain!  There are less people around which makes it more peaceful and I find the sound of the rain relaxing.  As long as I have my wellies and a raincoat I am a very happy walker.  Apparently rain releases a smell which is also relaxing and it helps to make the air cleaner and fresher.  The levels of humidity are better which means it’s more purifying for your skin and your health, and believe it or not but you will burn additional calories.  Once I’ve got my wellies and waterproof clothing on I feel that I can conquer any muddy path and so I wholly recommend refreshing your mind and taking a walk in the rain.
